Touch the Cow (Tech Demo)
A downloadable game for Windows
Have you ever wanted to touch the cow? Well now you can! Introducing: This janky soft body physics engine alpha that I've been working on for the better part of a decade! I just got collision (kinda) working so now You Too can touch the cow!
(This was meant to be a Transformation mini game, turning a girl into a cow girl via massaging... Buuut I ran out of time. Like it wasn't even close, I was WAY off.) (Note: It takes about 30 seconds to start up, and the main thing to do is touch the boobs and ears and spin her bouncy self around. The rest is real jank)
CONTROLS:
-Mouse and WASD + QE to move
-Scroll wheel to change movement speed, shift to sprint
-Mouse 1 and 2: Drag to spin cow!
-Spacebar to drop the hand (then click and drag to rotate) (New build only)
-Esc exit
TOGGLES:
1 skin render
2 show jiggle layers
3 show element connections
4 gravity
5 collision
NEW BUILD:
6 show collisions (and hide skin etc)
7 show poly bounding boxes
MINIMUM SPECS
Better than a GTX 1080. (This will pin your GPU at 100% and only run like half speed; slow motion physics)
NOTES:
-(It's requesting network access because it's in Development Build mode because that's the only way to prevent a random, untraceable crash bug)
-Super WIP, seriously

Why does it stop at a pink interface after opening?
make it for quest if you can
I hope to. I ported it to the Quest 1 when that was new, but it could only handle like 10k physics polygons. No idea if I'll be able to optimize it enough in the future

This is so very cool! Very similar to one of my projects, except mine is 2D only.
I like it, it is hypnotic to see the movement, I would love to see their process of transforming how those udders grow, but I love it. It's a great job
TF is coming later! But it'll be a big project
It's kind of mesmerizing in a way, just watching it jiggling like that...

I just improved the collision, and now flipping her upside down and watching everything slide around is delightful =]
